Paula Cook is the SBA National Sales Director for Banesco USA. With over 25 years of lending experience, Paula and her lending team specialize in working with small businesses to help choose the best loan option fit for their financing needs. Specializing in business acquisition/partner buyout financing, owner-user real estate, construction, equipment, expansion & leasehold improvement needs, or balance sheet restructuring, you will benefit from a seasoned and consistent lender that is committed to the SBA lending program in all economic cycles.
Our approach is to make the SBA loan process more customer centric, providing fast answers and advice based on dedicated lending. We focus on making a government loan program easier for our small business owner clients to navigate through. Since most transactions are deadline specific, we pay close attention to contract dates and structure, and understand the importance to meeting those deadlines & expectations. Our commitment is to be the key lending advisor in any small, large or complex SBA transaction.
We have a dedicated business segment solely committed to understanding, navigating and delivering on a successful SBA transaction for our clients. Paula is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has a team consisting of lenders throughout the country to service you and your clients. This team is able to seamlessly conduct a SBA transaction anywhere within the United States and Puerto Rico with our national SBA lending capability.
Prior to joining Huntington Bank, Paula held management roles with both Huntington Bank and Wells Fargo. She is very well respected by her peers, referral sources, and colleagues. Paula is a Past President of both Wisconsin and Illinois of MBBI, a Chicago based M&A organization, as well as a current Executive board member for Illinois and board member of the Wisconsin chapter.
