Andrew Lopez is a manager with Miller Cooper and a member of the Valuation Services team. His work includes valuation consulting and financial advisory services.
Andrew has extensive experience delivering business valuation services across a wide array of industries, including engineering, architecture, construction, freight forwarding and logistics, trucking, healthcare providers, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, software development, financial services, food distribution and production, manufacturing, retail, and consumer goods. He supports clients with estate planning, succession and business strategy, and mergers and acquisitions—providing due diligence, planning, and consulting services. Andrew’s work primarily focuses on closely held businesses, both in the U.S. and internationally.
Andrew Lopez provides comprehensive business valuations for a variety of purposes, including estate and gift tax, management planning, litigation support, stock compensation, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). His expertise also includes valuations for financial reporting, with experience in compliance with ASC 350, 718, and 805.
Prior to joining Miller Cooper, he served as a senior manager at a regional accounting firm and as a manager at one of the largest independent investment advisory firms in the United States.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Illinois, Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Andrew received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a board member for the Fox Valley Estate Planning Council, and a member of the AICPA, Illinois CPA Society, and CFA Institute.
