Veteran Business Project (VBP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to guiding veterans and military spouses through entrepreneurship by providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to succeed. Our core mission is "Offering Hope and Saving Lives" by recognizing that entrepreneurship can serve as a lifeline, offering hope and purpose to veterans transitioning to civilian life. Our "vharmony™️" model connects veterans looking to purchase a business with existing owners wanting to sell – all at zero cost to veterans. We currently have clients in nearly all 50 states, but being based in Illinois, we offer a Veteran Business Enterprise certification program that opens opportunities for veterans to attain exclusive benefits with the city of Chicago, including contract programs and bid incentives. We also launched a new initiative in 2025 "A Veteran-Owned Business in All 50 Chicago Wards" where we go into the wards and offer free mentoring and vharmony services.
