Michael is the President of Talavera Capital, a single-family office focused on direct investments in industrial distribution-oriented businesses and industrial real estate. He brings a CEO-level perspective to value creation, with expertise in operational leadership, strategic execution, M&A integration, digital transformation, and performance improvement.
Previously, Michael led his family’s large-scale truck and automotive distribution company, where he spearheaded the consolidation of operations from three separate Chicago facilities into a state-of-the-art facility in Crown Point, Indiana, unlocking tax incentives, lowering labor costs, and improving efficiency. He championed the adoption of ERP, CRM, and eCommerce systems to modernize legacy operations and enhance performance. Michael also played a key leadership role in the merger with S&S Truck Parts, ensuring zero disruption to employees during the integration.
