Kelly Pedersen, CFP®, CDFA
Kelly is the founder of CAISSA Wealth Strategies, a Minneapolis-based Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm focused on aligning clients' wealth with their personal values. With over 25 years of experience, Kelly specializes in investment planning, tax strategies, and estate planning for clients navigating complex transitions such as business succession, divorce, and inheritance. She holds a B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Northern Iowa.
Before founding CAISSA in 2009, Kelly spent a decade at two national accounting firms, refining her expertise in investment and tax strategy. She developed “The CAISSA Way,” a unique approach to wealth management that includes innovations like Torpedo Proofing Retirement Visions, R.U.L.E.S.-based investing, and Tranches of Income. These strategies ensure personalized financial guidance and legacy creation for her clients.
Recognized for her contributions to financial services, Kelly has received awards such as the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal's Women in Business honor and the Enterprising Women Award. Her insights have been featured in Investment News, FOX 9 News, Wall Street Journal, and more.
A farm girl from Northwest Iowa, Kelly enjoys golf, jogging, and traveling to Europe. She loves spending time with her husband, Bob, and their sons, Dillon and Tommy, at Lake Minnetonka or Lake Okoboji, accompanied by their French Bulldog, Bernie.
