Bio
Andy Anderson is a Chicago-based entrepreneur pursuing entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA), actively searching for a lower middle-market business to acquire in the Chicago metro area, with a target purchase price in the $1–6 million range. He is focused on founder-owned companies in IT managed services (MSP), home services, and niche B2B manufacturing or distribution — businesses with durable recurring revenue, loyal customer bases, and an owner ready for a structured transition.
Andy brings 15+ years of B2B revenue leadership and cross-industry consulting experience to the search. He currently serves as an Enterprise Account Executive at Qlik, a global data analytics and business intelligence software company, in a consultative, enterprise-focused role covering the financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing verticals. His broader background spans management consulting (including Big 4), program and project management, strategy and operations, and senior client-services leadership across industrial and enterprise software sectors. He holds multiple professional certifications in project and product management.
Andy is pursuing SBA 7(a) financing for his acquisition and is building relationships with brokers, lenders, and intermediaries across the Chicago and broader Midwest M&A community as he works through the search process. He approaches the search as an operator first — hands-on, growth-oriented, and focused on preserving what already works in a founder's business while investing in its next chapter of growth.
Outside of the search, Andy lives in Chicago's Ravenswood Manor neighborhood, where he's an active home gardener, woodworker, and volunteer mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
