Bio
Josh Staske is the founder of Staske Operating Partners, where he works with established owner-led service businesses to reduce owner dependence, strengthen management accountability, and address the operating constraints that make growth harder to manage.
Josh’s background spans operating leadership, finance, acquisitions, revenue operations, and organizational development. He has served as a post-acquisition CEO, led multi-site operations and P&L performance, built management and accountability systems, improved sales and customer processes, and worked directly with business owners on strategic and operating challenges. Earlier in his career, he held strategy and operations roles at ActiveCampaign and customer leadership roles at Advyzon, where his work included cross-functional decision-making, process improvement, capability building, and recurring-revenue management.
His acquisition experience includes sourcing and evaluating privately held businesses, financial and commercial diligence, transaction modeling, negotiations, and post-close planning. That experience gives him a practical understanding of what makes a business durable, transferable, and less dependent on a small number of people.
Through Staske Operating Partners, Josh works directly with owners and leadership teams rather than stopping at recommendations. Depending on the situation, he may advise the owner, diagnose the underlying operating problem, build and implement new systems, lead critical initiatives, or temporarily step into a senior operating role.
Josh holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from Eastern Illinois University.
