Robert has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, and is a Partner with Aprio’s Assurance* Services team. He is a risk manager for his clients, helping them understand the issues they either don’t have the time or the interest to pay attention to. Robert appreciates the efforts his clients undertake to succeed through adversity and enjoys working with them to achieve their goals.
He is a proactive advisor and provides full attention to client needs and goals. Robert’s clients are primarily closely-held and private equity owned businesses, and individuals. While his clients are diverse, his concentrations are in manufacturing and distribution, technology and service, and M&A due diligence. His clients rely on him for tax planning and business consulting.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Gies College of Business – University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor from the Association of Merger & Acquisition Advisors. Robert’s affiliations currently include Midwest Business Brokers & Intermediaries, The Entrepreneurship Institute, Association of Merger & Acquisition Advisors, Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, America-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Rochelle Zelle Jewish High School and Moriah Congregation. Robert was a Miracles of Hadassah Co-Honoree in 2023 with his wife, Greta Rothschild.
