Associated Bank Leveraged Finance Group is a first lien, senior secured debt investor that provides capital to private equity firms and other financial sponsors in support of leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, add-on acquisitions, and other leveraged transactions involving lower middle market businesses. Additionally, the group facilitates the bank’s equity investments in limited partnerships that are organized as SBICs (SBA-licensed “Small Business Investment Companies”).
As a Vice President, I am responsible for deal origination & business development, structuring/underwriting senior debt facilities, legal documentation & transaction execution, risk/portfolio management, and relationship management between the bank, sponsor(s), and company leadership teams.
My experience includes commercial lending and portfolio management, loan workout and restructuring, equity valuation, mergers & acquisitions, ESOP advisory, ownership transition planning, and corporate finance consulting.
I received my undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 and the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder designation in 2023. Prior to Associated Bank, I spent four and a half years at BMO (Harris Bank), completing the bank’s credit training program and holding various roles in the commercial bank.
